Which membership package is best for me?
You can chose to be either an executive or a premium member, depending on the level of support you feel your company needs. The packages differ in terms of the number of hours on-site consultancy included.
What does the technical support helpline cover?
You can contact us by email or telephone for technical support and expect a timely response. We offer support in a whole range of areas, including:
- BRC/EFSIS accreditation
- Documenting, implementing and verifying HACCP plans
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Preparations for audits by customers
- Audits and screening of suppliers
- ‘Due Diligence’ questionnaires from customers
- Internal audits of quality systems
- Product specifications
- Dealing with the Environmental Health Office
We aim to respond within 24 hours (during office hours) of the initial query being logged if a consultant is not available right away.
What are your office hours?
Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
How do I arrange my consultancy/site visit?
You should arrange your site visit by contacting us (via email or telephone) with some available dates which we will endeavour to work to. Please be advised that if your company is outside the Greater Manchester area, any site visits will incur mileage expenses at 40p per mile. This is in addition to your membership fee.
How do I arrange additional consultancy?
We are happy to offer our members the discounted consultancy rate of £50 per hour. This represents a reduction of £20 per hour on our standard fee of £70 per hour. Additional consultancy delivered on site will be subjected to mileage expenses of 40p per mile. You will be invoiced for the additional hours on completion of the work.
How do I obtain a login for the member area?
You will be emailed a username and password upon receipt of your subscription fee. You can change the default password to something of your choosing after the initial login.
What if I forget my username/password?
Just contact us and we can reset it for you.
What documents are available in the member areas?
A number of documents are directly downloadable from the member area of the website and we normally notify users of updates via the news feed. Documents available include pre-requisite checklists and recommendations, 6 HACCP forms, cleaning schedules and hygiene rules as well as 20 various Quality Management documents.
How do I get my website featured on your member sites page?
Once you are a fully fledged member, just send us the link to your company's website and an appropriate logo for use and we will arrange this.
